Creating Solutions to Current World Issues
The Montessori Model United Nations Program was created to be a simulation of an actual UN General Assembly, including committees made up of students acting as delegates. Student representatives from The Village School spend the first part of the year researching a selected country so that they can represent that country at the UN General Assembly over the course of 3 days in NYC. Costs and Schedules will be sent home prior to the beginning of the school year. Model UN meets after school one day per week from September to March and is open to Middle School students at The Village School.
